Hydraulic pumps

One of our pb 300's recienly lost power to the right track, and started doing circles mid pass. It seems as if the pump is stroking when no controls are in use, and lurches forward as soon as the parking brake is realised, even at an idle. Is the problem with the pump it's self, or could it be electrical? How do I diagnose, and is there an easy / cheap fix, or is the pump toast? Please help.

Welcome to the board, lookout. I'd suspect it could be either hydraulic OR electrical, so let's start with a few questions to gather some info for better troubleshooters than I:

What year is the 300?

How many hours?

Sticks or wheel?

Have you done pressure tests on the pumps/motors?

if worst comes to worst don't be afraid to call PB and talk to one of their service techs, they're usually pretty good about helping you out and can probably help you troubleshoot it over the phone...
